Hampshire Police

This section covers my voluntary involvement in Hampshire Police .

Since 2018, I have been a member of the Hampshire Police Independent Advisory Group (AIG) based in Havant. IAGs are voluntary groups made up of members of the public that are independent from the police and who review incidents and issues that impact local communities.

While I was a local Havant Borough Councillor between 2014-2018, I attended various operational shifts and a training course as an observer.  These activities allowed me better understand how the Police Force help and protect our residents in Havant and Hampshire.

These activites are published here, and all have received clearance from Hampshire Police Communications and Police Operational areas prior to publication.

I am the Hampshire IAG member of the Hampshire Police Strategic Prosperity Governance Group which meets quarterly.

This Group is tasked with reporting on the progress being made to help protect Hampshire residents and business from cyber fraud and economic crime through protect and prevention initiatives.

Hampshire Police has a Cyber protect Officer who gives talks and presentations and how to avoid being defrauded.

I also present seminars to community and resident groups across Havant. Please contact me for further details.
